Bank or payout account details (Tour Creators only)
Location details for tours (Tour Creators only)

Phone Number Usage

Phone numbers are an essential part of the Planuxe platform. Because phone calls and WhatsApp messaging are the most reliable and widely used means of communication in Nigeria, Planuxe uses phone numbers to ensure smooth coordination between travellers and tour creators.

When a booking is confirmed:

The Tour Creator (Guide) receives the Traveller’s phone number
The Traveller receives the Tour Creator’s phone number

Planuxe only shares the phone number with the specific Tour Creator associated with the booked trip. Phone numbers are never publicly displayed and are not shared with unrelated users or third parties for marketing purposes.

Browser type
App usage data
Pages visited
Click behaviour
Session duration
Referring links

3.3 Location Data

Planuxe may collect location data when necessary to facilitate trips. This may include:

GPS data when location access is enabled
Meeting point coordinates
Trip check-in validation

Users may disable GPS access; however, some features of the platform may not function properly without it.

3.4 Payment Information

Payments on Planuxe are processed through secure third-party payment providers (such as Paystack). Planuxe does NOT store full card numbers or sensitive financial details on its servers.

4. ACCOUNT VERIFICATION & IDENTITY CHECKS

To maintain safety and trust within the Planuxe community, Tour Creators may be required to undergo identity verification.

Face Verification (Optional)

Planuxe may offer face verification as an optional feature for Tour Creators who want to increase their credibility and trust level on the platform.

Important Privacy Assurance:

Planuxe does NOT permanently store the captured face image.
The face image is used only momentarily for identity comparison.
Once verified, the image is automatically deleted from our system.

Planuxe retains personal data for as long as necessary to Provide services, Maintain history, Resolve disputes, and Comply with legal obligations.

Users may request account deletion, after which non-essential personal data will be removed.
